It's fast and does a fantastic job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the kitchen, living room, and hallways with just one pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to remove dirt as well as pet hair and even droppings effortlessly. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes into contact with rugs, and the dual side brushes help draw out debris from corners.

The mopping efficiency is less impressive, but not by much. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scraping away dirt and staining. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots that vacuum and mop, which is helpful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. The only downside is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping and is sold separately from the vacuum. It is easy to install and works well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum for mopping purposes it is important to be aware of this.

The Q Revo stands apart from the majority of robot vacuums that mop in its class. It comes with a wide array of features that make it an ideal choice for homeowners who want a highly effective, versatile and ad-hoc cleaning machine.

The X1 Omni is notable for its massive dock that serves as a charging base for the robot cleaner, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and an 2.5 milliliter dust bin.

The base also has a variety of buttons to control the system. These let you manually start cleaning or recall the robot or run the dock's auto-emptying process. Press two of the buttons to turn off a child lock that is a great option for parents concerned about children playing with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni like other robotic vacuums, uses its camera to identify obstacles and furniture that are in its path. It will stay clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

Unfortunately this means that the X1 Omni could occasionally get caught up in obstacles, like an electrical cord dangling across a rug, that it gets stuck and stops working until you remove it manually. This is a rare event however it was frustrating because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its app.

The X1 Omni is unable to automatically switch from mopping to vacuuming mode during cleaning. You'll have to manually swap between the two modes, which isn't a big deal except for the fact that mopping pads aren't cleaned and dried between use which could lead to mildew or mold.

On the bright side the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its modern and sleek base as well as mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the basic black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. It's also an impressive sight in an industry dominated by boxy units.
